Description

Another Space Elevator series image; here we can observe the bomblet craters left by the 'Orion' style propulsion process that nudged/steered the anchoring mass from it's resting place in the asteroid belt, to Earth Orbit. The lights of the elevator support facility can be seen below, on the mid-pacific island sited at the equator. I'm going to add a few orbital structures/ satellites to the group but wanted to share this render along the way. Thanks for bearing with me.

imaginative and challenging! love the texture on that rock - too bad hawai'i isn't on the equator or you could operate the ticket booth personally!
