My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

That chandelier pleases me greatly as well - and it would please me even more greatly if it was hanging from my ceiling! I love stuff like this! I'm sending the Girls on a covert mission to snatch it....
Ah, well.... Maybe not..... Someone would probably object. But it's soooo cool! Great capture of it, Tara!

It is a great chandelier, a shame it doesn't work. Well spotted, captured and presented. 😀

Your 'star' here is the chandelier; but, in keeping with its random, serendipitous placement, you've presented it way off center, with the heaviest light to its left. So it's just 'part' of the whole---which is a fascinating and very characterful collection of verticals and horizontals, that great pounded metal above, the great simple ornaments in the corners of the metal, the bands of wall and then bricks, and the textured and stained old beam. And then there's the chandelier---the '3 amigos', as Mark calls them. (He's right about that, lol.) I wonder why they put it there. A big beautiful mysterious shot, with a sweet softness to make it 'touchable'.

it's a great image with a lot of detail to study and sparing palette. love it!

I really really love this shot. It has all. I find beautiful and interesting. Softness, compo, the wood, the rusty chandelier and bulbs, not to forget the interesting background. I almost want to paint it, if i could.
