2017 was the lowest year I've had. Having to put Mom in a nursing home where she eventually passed away pretty much explains why.
Plus my current job is driving me up the wall with having more time-sensitive responsibilities. I'm in the process of finding something else, with three applications already submitted.
I don't have many high expectations for 2018 (because I'm still trying to sort things out over Mom's death). That said, I have a few goals:
* A new job.
* Fixing up my apartment.
* Finding time to write.
* Improving my so-called 3D "art."
* Learning HTML5.
Beyond that, I have to take this new normal one day at a time. Plans will still be made, but modest.
I'm still doing art, but it's mainly at DeviantArt for the time being. I have a commission there that I really need to finish. Other than that, I don't know when I will get back to doing Diva or Space Foxes/Paklet stories.
Only time (and God perhaps) will tell.

Hey, Wes! I'm with ya, bro... It's been a b##ch of a year for a lot of us - and I feel your pain, brother. Same here when we had to put my dad in a nursing home. He went downhill quickly after that. It's never easy, and it takes time to heal - let the process take its own pace.. there will always be an empty place, but you will heal. Just take it a day at a time, do what relaxes you and what you enjoy. We'll all be here. You're in my thoughts and prayers, buddy.
