Description
Remembering all the speculative vids about star faring civilizations, Lead Engineer Trask marveled at how little concern for safety they must have had, if those in engineering would stand next to a reactor with no protection at all. Even for a base level one inspection his team wore full radiation suits, there was no way he would even supervise maintenance in shirt sleeves.

Well in defense of Trek, you could work naked around their power plant. Because when they screwed up, no protective gear will save you. And those things blew up if you stared hard at them.
