Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Pretty awesome Terri nice work fraid I won't be turning to the dark side I've already spent thousands literally on poser I have many packages I have not even used I think I will happily let others who work Daz do there stuff and I will reap the benefits of there vision which is pretty cool I have other projects to busy myself with Super work my friend well done!!

I'm sending Rey and BB8 over to have a little 'talk' with you.....
It's OK - I play on the Dark Side a bit myself, although Poser is still my go-to for T.N.A. and my bigger projects. I'm a 'Grey Jedi,' so I can play both sides....LOL
If you get the part about getting all your Poser stuff into DS let me know.... I still haven't figured it out - not that I've spent that much time on it..
Anyway, it looks like you've adapted quite well to the Dark Side - this is a lovely render for your First Order......oh, sorry..... I meant first render.

The lady looks great and the lighting is fabulous! Good luck with DAZ studio. I have tried it a few times over the years but like you can't ever seem to get past the first few renders before I throw up my hands in failure and return to Poser.

I would not know where to begin with Daz. Have the software but don't know how to use or install content like pose. All three images are super, Teri.

Excellent work and I do hope someone can help with Daz. I have trouble finding enough time to make something in Poser, and I am glad to hear that someone else's library in Poser is very long. I hope to organise it one day. 😀

It seems that the "Dark Side" gets brighter every day. At the very least, it certainly gets more and more populous. Wonderful work. And best of luck with the DS-compatible items. I have no idea how to install them in DS, but I hear they can be with a little effort. Keep trying!

Welcome to the Dark Side! Very beautiful render!

First: great image - I think you'll like what DAZ can do. What you can do with your non-DAZ files is have DS do a search on your drives - you'll do this by going to the Content Library tab and click on the tab that is above the Install Tab and have the system search for all your files. After you've done that, you can browse through your stuff.

superb pose and a great start

I worked with Daz Studio from the beginning. However, I also tried Poser before, but after seeing how complicated it is, I let it be again. This render is really great. Do it the way Faemike said, and you'll get access to your Poser content. Very good work, Teri!

As a dweller in the dark, I welcome you, and your first pieces beat mine by light years. I know you will get the hang of the lighting, and finding all the Renderocity things is like digging in the attic for long forgotten gems, but the end results can be awesome.

like the shadows
