Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

Very beautiful!

I read your request for assistance when you first posted this, and I wanted to say: Oh, am I the wrong guy. I don't even know what "runtime" means. And "shaders"---which Mike (Faemike) always talks about: I haven't got a clue. So transferring daz to poser, and vice versa? I'm the wrong dude, but I hope you found someone to help...Also I don't know what the "Dark Side" is, but it doesn't matter: I really like this harshly lit woman---I mean she's in shadow, but there are these heavy lights out of frame, which are shining on her from at least two angles, and creating a harsh cold white light on the walls behind her, and two sets of shadows. They make this look like photographers have entered her home, and are trying to do a 'shoot' with her---and she's not altogether thrilled with the idea, lol. A fascinating complex moment, and the light is really arresting. Plus her pose is complex too; she looks like she's holding her chest as if to say, "I'm not sure I want to be here..." A really enticing image.

For a first experiment with Daz this is an excellent render. The lighting really is quite well-done. Give yourself a pat on the shoulder. :)
Sorry for my long absence, by the way. All sorts of personal problems to deal with (though nothing too serious). Hope all's been well!
