made with photos, brushes and png tubes in GIMP and IrfanView. background: lobostudiohamburg, stone dragon: free, woman: tigress, wing skirt: capricorn, cape cloth: lagrimadejarjayes, castle: noupload the dragon is a stone carving, but I thought he was too cool not to use. made last year. thanks for looking and comments!

I'm only back for a few comments, as I'm finishing up procedures (medical), and am not back otherwise. But it's always special when you upload, and I wanted to acknowledge this beautiful sweeping piece. It sweeps from the light coming down from the top-left, through the sweep of the ridge of the mountainside, to the open sky and great peeking-through sun, to the sweep of the dragon's many tentacles and wing-spines, etc. So that's a stone carving? (It actually looks like brass!) You used it beautifully here, and the slayer looks like she's almost in communication with him, as if they have an understanding (before she slays him). Great use of light and dark---contrast---and golds and yellows and pinks (the pinks are on the slayer). Your intuitions are at their peak in pieces like this, a really dramatic sweeping piece. And the castle or town in the distance (it looks like a medieval walled town) is perfect accent in that bare windswept rock. Beautifully done, Barb. I hope all is well in your challenging life, and I wish you a blessed 2018.
