A vision of confusion and blurred thoughts. It is so clever of you to portray emotions and feelings in your work! Wonderful , Nikolay!

Let me be the first to congratulate you Nikolay, being chosen as the "Artist of the Month".
This has been long overdue now and it's something which you deserve so well !!! I have been such a fan of your art here forever - I should say, of your unique art and very clever style, never seen here before. I also understand that you are not a friend of words like: 'forever or always', I grant you that, but how else can't I speak without conviction and mean what I am seeing ? it's always a surprise and joy to my eyes and I am speaking from the heart, when I say: "every picture tells a story" and I love 'reading' your stories...
Here is another example of your art, simply brilliant work and so intuitive, another aspect of life interpreted so well, I take my hat off to you - well done Nikolay !!!
Thank you very much for your good wishes and those thoughts are also mine, for you and your family in 2018 and beyond... I hope, that this will also be my comeback to the Galleries, a start has been made at last, thanks for your understanding and support throughout my friend.

Brit, what a great compliment! Thank you so much for that and the warm wishes. Still, I believe art is a compromise between the artiest and the viewer. . I am so glad we both vibrate on the same frequency. Be well, my friend!

I'm not back on RR right now, but I wanted to congratulate you again Nikolay, on getting artist of the month. I only found out about it a day before you posted this (and left a congratulations which took a little bit of time to go up). (They don't announce these things on RR's front page like they used to...sometimes they announce things for a few days, then it disappears...) You've been one of the exceptional artists in my life, and I'm very happy whenever you get the accolades you deserve. Like the image above, you turn everyday scenes into moving, sometimes haunting, eye opening, and always deep and inward journeys. You've made me see art in ways I never have. And you seem to connect to some ancient source inside all of us, as if every scene you create came from some distant formative world, as if we all came from that place ages ago, and you came along and 'found' it for us. It's like you unearth your images, from some deep collective of inner consciousness, the same place that ancient tales come from. (I agree with Brigitte about the tales in your art.) (I commented on another image, but it's back a ways and I wanted to be sure you got my congratulations and hugs!)
This scene above---it's as if the person at the end of that mysterious hall could have come from another age altogether, and this hall could have been there forever---maybe empty for long periods, yet always waiting for someone to come along and enter it. A lot of the image is black, making the person emerge out of a deep darkness. As if he/she came out of another age. Wonderful work; and congratulations again, and I wish you a blessed and inspired 2018, for you and all those you love.

Mark, you've always been a prime mover for my works.Thank you so much for viewing and reading my works the way no one else can and commenting so nicely. Wishing you and all yours a most fruitful New 2018.

The light is just wonderful. It elongates the perspective, and draws me all the way in to the experience of being there.
