Description
At first, thank you for the nice comments and favorits to my last Image: TFLWPT - The stumbling block.
It means a lot to me.
As I said, Ragnor and his brother Balder learned that in the spring to Uppsala should go to the great sacrificial feast.
The night before leaving, they heard Skryrmir arguing with Numa. Numa scolded that said it was ultimately about her son. Ragnor was listening because he was Numa's only son after all. Unfortunately, they could not find out anything, except that Numa did not speak to her husband during the trip.
The journey was exciting and varied. The celebration on the night before the sacrificial festival was taboo for Ragnor and his siblings. Only his father and his big brother Wulfgar, who was already a warrior, took part while the rest of the immediate family stayed in the yurt. Ragnor was frustrated that he was not allowed to party yet.
The next morning, they sacrificed their gifts. Skryrmir introduced his son to the high priest. Ragnor was amazed when his father told him to stay in the sanctuary to study the priesthood and serve Odin.
With a heavy heart, he had to say goodbye to his family.
Numa whispered in his ear that Ragnor should listen to his heart.

Wonderful storytelling as always... It is always so hard to say goodbye to ones family.... Nice interactions between them. I also like the expression. The suit the scene very well. Looking forward to the sequel :)
