Pure delight! I reminds me of certain enamelled pot lids from the past.

What a great result, Helle, and so surprising. It looks like a negative of a photo. Anyway I love each line on it, my friend.

I was wondering what this made me think of, and then I saw what Andrea said. Ah-ha! It makes me think of the designs they put on pottery in the 1920s. This would be so perfect on a vase! It's a gorgeous wrap-around design, and the colors are just right for such a thing. I love this!

Fractalius? Sounds like something or someone from ancient Rome. Anyway, a quite interesting departure from your usual fare, and very well done, Helle. I really don't know what to compare it to, but I do like the texture.

Yes, it does have an enamel surface feeling to it (andrea), even almost decoupage. I love the milky whites and cream tones bulging through the linework and colors. And the border with its "torn edges" look. And the rainbow hues running through the ground level. It definitely feels like something other than paper; and it has a wonderful rushing color feel to it. I love that you made those cut-off edges...it gives it a feeling of a very old, colorful curio...
