Good heavens! A black tree trunk surrounded by a bouquet of loverly MUshrooms, which really pop out in this photo. Fungi among I. They kind of remind me of garlic.

With others (above), a delight. Esp the way those big mushrooms surround that big flat dark stump. And a few growing on top (as tara points out). The mushrooms look like glazed breads! And you have a whole lot of activity on the left, with all those prickly sticks and twigs all messing around. Lots of different textures and activities in this shot, and the hues of the mushrooms couldn't make a better contrast if you asked them too. Delightful.
