The original, on top, captured exactly a year ago on 1/17/08, somewhere within the vast perimeter of the neighborhood.

a buttery, honeyed original, with your characteristic deep glow...and those reds in the furls are gentle and beautiful. The variations are gentle...the 2d one looks like a soft-focus, grainy one, kind of whispering to us; the 3d seems striated with intense bands of light and shadow, alternatingly; and the last one has fractal-like forms or organic process or else little worms---it actually has something in common with the Fractilius pieces people around here do (I saw your comment to helle---very funny, lol: You asked if "Fractilius" was from Ancient Rome: It sounds like the name of a Centurion, I grant you. But Denise used it all the time, and Helle uses it occasionally...I've never owned it, and have no clue what it does!). Whatever you used, you did a subtle texture-based job, and your total black around it sets it off sweetly. A fine and subtle set, Harry.
