Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

A beautiful little painting of this impressive light house. Excellent work. We are having a heat wave here this year for our summer so thank goodness we have an air conditioner. 35C the other day..... sizzling hot.

Nice and interesting application of the paint daubs in this lighthouse representation, Helle. I never saw a lighthouse with stripes before. I was never good at watercolors myself. I felt that I was losing control of the medium.

There's just something charming about small artworks like this. You did a delightful job on this little watercolor, Helle!

I totally agree with Rod. And I also agree with Harry about "losing control" with watercolors: I just never got command of that medium, unless I used them 'drier' and more like oils...But I love the longitudinal sweeps of your sky, in those coffee-peach tones. And the massing of the lighthouse and other forms (house and trees, etc) behind it. And the stripes have a muted feeling, with the beige and sandy brown stripes. And the whole feels like a concentration of forms surrounded by a big sweeping sky---all in a little painting. Really sweet work, helle, for a fast and small piece: It has a lot of space and open ease. Always great to see you paint whenever you can...

Delightful! Knowing the size somehow makes this all the more charming. :)
