Pigeons at breakfast time, captured way back on 2/23/07, on my way to Walmart.

Love the big "splash" of these hungry birds, you almost have an oil painting here; the rush of lines and blues and whites (and some pale browns, etc) makes a big abstract. I think Jackson Pollock would like this! And you have that background, with the flat brown land and those roots, to give a 'frame' to this big crowded shot. With space below too---and lots of seeds. Love this shot, a great-looking mess, with all kinds of converging energies piling on top of each other. Whoosh!

Oh! This reminds me of the Townhall Square in DK, when I was a little girls. At that time it was allowed to feed them and we could buy food for them. It isnt now... THINK if we got a little Pigeon poop on us. We would die, man. TSK! some of the charme of the city is gone with the pigeons in my opinion. Copenhagen was known for these, but nooo... too dirty. I know they make dirty..but so do people.
