"Angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved one is safe in the hands of God." My mom passed quietly from this world and she slipped into eternal sleep. She joined our Creator this week, we will miss her so much. She was a beauty queen in her hometown and was Santa Elena during the May festival. Our former Philippine President Quirino danced with her when he visited our province. Our mother was the editor-in-chief of her school paper, The Angelite in 1949. She joined the Council of Elders of the Charismatic movement at our Parish Church from 1982-1987 visiting the sick in hospitals and homes, orphanages and the home for the aged. She has lived in California since 1995. Later in life, she spent a lot of time in prayer, she was always caring, compassionate and prayed for the well-being of others.
