Description
All part of a high school marching band celebrating the 50th birthday of our city, captured way back in August of 2007.

Nice contrasts, Harry, of bright wall with dark blue shirts, the silver of the drums, the brass (far left) and the dark grays of the road. The road's yellow and white lines also provide contrast. And the repetition of drums and drum sticks, along with the verticals of the players, makes a very musical shot. Bright and clear too. (I see that street number---12225---and I think that LA must have some really long, uninterrupted streets. You rarely see a street number that high in Chicago!)

A great capture but they all look so serious. Maybe it was a hot day. 😀
