Hi and welcome all. My real name is James Thornton. I'm just some boring guy in a dead end job trying to create art in this digital media of 1's and 0's....vertices and polygons....splines and nurbs. I just hope when people veiw my art that they contemplate how it was created and what was the motivation i was feeling for that particular image.

Ok, this is where i ramble on about my experience in this media and such. So, i will start by telling you the programs i use....poser4....vue d'espirit....cinema 4d.....rhino3d....3d studio max.....bryce5....deeppaint3d.....adobe photoshop7....paintshop pro7....along with a variety of utility programs. I have been working in 3d now for about 3 years. Started out just confused and figuring i would never get it. But i was hooked from day one and am now a full fledged addict. I consider myself a late bloomer since i am 37 years old. But, my imagination is fresh and young:)

Nice work on this image. Good to see Christian art on Renderosity. One minor suggestion or correction though, the spear wound would be in his other side, I believe. :c)

Very nice picture & love symbolism... & I agree with mboncher, spear normally is on the other side in the upper chest

i don'y belive the bible ever states which side his spear wound was on- i definatly don't think its up any higher - i think it looks fine - good job.

Since everyone is on where the spear is I would like to add my two cents. The Bible says he didn't even look like a man because he was so badly beaten so if ya all want to get technical...well anyway. Nice image and I am glad to see some christians here.
