this image is completely vue with the exception of the log being made in 3dmax r3. the render took 15hrs and 12 min at broadcast quality.

This is extremely well done. I especially love the partially submerged tree in the water and how it reflects. This is a peaceful, bucolic scene, and it was well worth the render time.

Wonderful! Vue gets slow when I get around 7,000,000 polygons, I would hate to see what would happen if I tried to make a scene this complex.

thank all of you for the great comments:) in reguard to the comment from lilzeek....i am running a sytem with a 1.7gig processor amd athalon with 512megs of ram and a 100 gig hard drive. the last time i looked at poly count it was something around 350,000,000. i found that when it begins slowing down as your creating to start on a new layer and disable the veiwing of the other layers....helps speed things up:)
