Description


The lighthouse of Eckmühl is a lighthouse situated on the point of Saint-Peter, to Penmarc' a hour, in Finistère in France. He measures more than 60 meters in height. He was inaugurated on October 17th, 1897 and owes his name in conformance with nobility of the donor which largely financed him. He reassures one of the most dangerous coast of France because of his numerous reefs. His walls are completely built in granite of Kersanton and the internal wall of its stairwell is covered with plates of opaline. It is one of the monuments the most visited of Finistère today. Steps : 307 - Height 64,80 m.
