Description
A little history:
France ordered 1939 140 H81-A1, the export version of the P-40.
But before the planes were delivered, France capitulated.
Britain took over this delivery and gave the H81-A1 the name Tomahawk MK I.
Some of the machines were already painted in French colors, had french instruments and letterings and as armament four 7,5 mm FN machine guns.
But the Tomahawk MK I were unsuitable for combat because she did not have armor protection, bulletproof glass or self-sealing tanks, eg.
So this planes where used for training or tactical reconnaissance by the RAF.
