Description
A couple days ago, IceDragonArt remarked that Captain Jones was one tough cookie. She is. She has the command of a ship that has a crew of more than five hundred. She has overall responsibility for every man and woman, and in the case of Ensign Aroosh K'tra, both (they being from a hermaphroditic race). And though she still feels the pain of her loss of her family, she can't let it show. Nor can she allow it to affect the performance of her duties.
So this is the render I posted originally on September 27, 2010. It's her private grief over her loss. I'd already planned to post it today. But I feel it's also appropriate for what happened yesterday.

while the parents are in mourning the gun shows goes on in southern Florida like nothing happened. when I hear of stupid and deadly stuff like it, I feel ill. my daughter-in-law is a school teacher and I can not imagine what went through hers and many other school teachers minds and all the students

A very powerful and moving render. We all are grieving. Our society is broken - badly broken. It boils down to a human thing... Not hardware. There are human issues that need to be fixed, or it will continue, even if we remove every last firearm from existence. They will use knives, bricks, ball bats or vehicles to perform their murderous acts.
