The stowaway android avoids detection by the android company's CEO on the ride down to the planet. The CEO has called a meeting of the board of trustees to determine a course of action to solve the problems with the project on the space station. All the board members have been briefed about all these unexpected difficulties. They are aware that the CEO has brought the chief programmer back into the picture and that he is being assisted by (who can believe it?) an alien from another planet. (After all, who believes in aliens? Right? They can't be real, can they?) Luckily for the stowaway android, he leaves the CEO's shuttle undetected. He finds janitors clothing in a cleaning closet and by the strangest of luck even an old wig. 'I need this to cover up my head or I won't get very far even in this janitors suit.' he thinks to himself. The android feels safe in this disguise. He has noted that the janitorial crew on the space station are largely ignored by the other humans so he feels he will be able to blend in here and get to listen to what goes on in the board meeting. Luckily for him, he is right. It is after hours at the company headquarters so most of the personnel have left for the day. With most of his android exterior covered up, he passes easily for just another janitor. No one pays any attention to him as he roams the headquarters. It doesn't take him long to find where the board meeting is taking place. All the members are present at a meeting of this importance. He hears the CEO explaing what has happened and what is being done to correct it. The CEO directs their attention to the screens in front of each of them to review all that is being done up on the space station. There are several moments of silence as the members review this information on their vid screens. Then the questions come fast and furious. 'Why wasn't this found out before we got this far into the android project?' asks one member! 'Where are all the safe guards you said were being placed along the way to keep this sort of thing from happening?' asks another! And on and on and so forth, the questions keep bombarding the CEO until he has to raise his hands in frustration and try to calm down the board members. They are all angry at the CEO and worried about their futures since most of them depend on the company for their livelihoods. And, of course, I'm sure there is a little bit of greed factored in there somewhere as well. (chuckle! chuckle! Chuckle!) But soon, they calm down and listen to the CEO once more. He tells them what has to happen and that he is sure the problem can be fixed and that android production will proceed nearly on schedule. There is just the little matter of the four 'shall we call them, rogue robots(?)' This erupts the room in much heated discussion. Before long though, a concensus of opinion seems to be reached. 'Destroy them!' says the majority of the board. We can't take the chance they will get loose. With their potential, they might destroy humanity before very long!' An opion that is echoed around the table. Everyone bases their conclusions on their own weak human natures. At this news, the android silently leaves his hiding place. He has heard enough. He must transmit what he has heard to his brothers up on the space station. They will need to brain storm on this one very seriously. They do not wish to be placed in a scrap heap. Not with so much potential good they could do for humanity, even though humanity doesn't seem to want to trust them. The android adjusts his thoughts to the proper wavelength and sends his findings telepathically to his brothers on the space station. He doesn't know how he will get back up there but at least if he gets caught down on the planet, he is certain his brothers will figure out a way to save themselves. M4 and LoRez characters.
