Description
The Abeille Bourbon is a tug of intervention, assistance(audience) and rescue (RIAS) French, 80 meters long with a strength of 200 ton drive, 12 men(people) of crew(equipage), conceived(designed) by the Norwegian naval architect Sigmund Borgundvaag and built by Kleven Maritim. He was baptized by Jacques de Chateauvieux on April 13th, 2005 in the presence of his godmother Bernadette Chirac. He(it) is since based in Brest and assures(insures) the safety(security) of the rail of Ouessant.
The Abeille Bourbon is property of the company Abeille international, itself property of the Group Bourbon. The crew(equipage) consists of sailors of the merchant navy. The three-colored(French) bands(strips) painted on the hull(shell) mean that she(it) participates in the action(share) of the State at sea. She(it) is chartered by the French State and is at the disposal of the port admiral
