Description

The castle-monitoring center Abbadia is of neo-Gothic style, situated on the municipality of Hendaye (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), in the province of Labourd (to 6 km of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and 1 km of Hendaye). Built by Eugène Viollet-le-Duc and Edmond Duthoit on a command(order) of Antoine d' Abbadie, he(it) is classified as ancient memorial and House of the illustrious. The rich scientific collections, of archives and furnitures are of origin and represent a considerable representative cultural heritage of the xixe century.

Your text suggests this is a museum. I see no spiral stair inside the turret above the red doors. The opening above the main stairs suggest a modern interior (well, as modern as it could be when built). More photos from inside would be interesting to see. Keep up the good work. :-)

Un excellent cadrage pour ce château magnifique ! Voir un tel château entouré de palmiers, c'est vraiment étonnant ! Les sculptures aussi sont étonnantes ! Belle capture et riches infos !
