Description
This image is based on a May 1862 photo, likely taken by James F. Gibson, of officers of the Connecticut Heavy Artillery unit at Union Battery No. 4, south end, at Yorktown, Virginia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Yorktown13inmortars1862.jpg).
The mortars are my Union Seacoast Mortar positioned in the emplacement terrain packaged with it. The officers are M4 wearing modified DAZ Shenandoah uniforms. The sentry is Crowfoot's (no-longer-available) Union Soldier. The tree stumps are from DAZ's Broken Trees but I'm not sure where the shrubs are from. The sky is one of Flink's Skies 2.
Composed and rendered in Poser 11.

I wonder how much those "bowling balls" weigh? I wouldn't like to have one dropped on my toes! I recognize this from the 1862 photo. Very different seeing it in color versus in black/white. Keep up the good work. :-)
