Description
This image is based on another May 1862 James F. Gibson photo of Union Battery No. 4 at Yorktown, Virginia (https://www.granger.com/results.asp?image=0172044), this one showing heavy woods and a body of water.
The mortars are my Union Seacoast Mortar positioned in the emplacement packaged with the mortar. The officers are M4 wearing a modified DAZ Shenandoah uniform. The sentry is Lorenzo Lorez in Varsel's free Union soldier uniform. The environment is filled out with trees and some terrain from the Swimming Lake Scene and trees from a Dinoraul tree set, the Pine Forest and, from DAZ, Broken Trees, Fallen Trees, Tall Pine, and Scots Pine. There's some grass from the Olive Grove and the sky is from Flink's Skies 2. Just visible are some Hivewire3D ducks.
Composed and rendered in Poser 11.
