Description

A herd of giraffes just doing their peaceful thing! It was actually a sizable herd. The rest of the guys were on the other side of the road but the light was not great in that direction shooting into the sun. Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park - March 2017

Peek-a-boo, I see you but I bet you don't see me! The town gardener ought bring in a few of these fellow to help him trim the tops of trees here. Good photo of these fellows. Keep up the good work. :-)

Fine shot that really shows off their size very effectively. I envy your proximity to this kind of spectacular wildlife in their natural habitat - I only get to see them in zoos or small, artificially created wildlife parks...

Rich lush colors and contrast in this capture; another super shot, as is your wont, Carin. You do African wild life fantastically. And, giraffes have no vocal chords.
