I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Marvellous images and story line! The mysterious character sounds like Miho, from Rajib's gallery. Excellent work!

It is Miho and if T.N.A. is smart, they will leave well enough alone and just let Miho do her thing in her own fashion. Outstanding work on this one. Yeah! the Fae have a lot of abilities, some natural and others through training. The Queen was smart to pick Kinnie. She has a few more talent you may not be aware of.

The latest and the best, cool storyline. Love how you grouped and posed everybody in each frame. Killer freaking job, Rod. Tina looks concerned while Tena just looks smoking hawt! Looks like all agencies of T.N.A. are busy with Dans clan and TnT and operation domino. Wonder if one of those two or more labs have to deal with the threat in Denver. My story on it will be not long. But the chemical involved we think is called Novichok and would guess the Russians are also involved with Arshad. If I go that way might be a next series after this case. Thanks for the shout out. Just need to wait to add more content to do more detailed work like yours.. All the gals look great, love how you always lay these out, I'll take along time coming close to this professionalism my friend.
Hey what font you use. They come out so readable???
Thanks for putting my gals in this storyline.
RodS
Yeah, the Girls are all kept pretty busy with all the nut cases running amok - most of them running countries...

This is one stunning piece of creativity. Everything is perfect: the layout, the story line, the characters, and of course the renders are top drawer. Congrats! I truly enjoyed this.

You're amazing my friend! Your efforts prove out with outstanding results! You could be a creator of graphic arts novels if you wanted. I could never do this and I doubt my computer could handle it either lol. Awesome! 5 Stars +

Oh, my! There's a door ajar in images 3 and 4! Gives me the creeps. Could it be that sleazo having gotten in and spying on the TNA folks? Or is it someone waiting to be introduced - Miho maybe? I'm SO glad you have been able to get back on track with the TNA story! OUCH! Stop it, Kitty! She's hiding behind the kitchen table cloth and then attacking my knees with cat-acupuncture. There, chased her out of the kitchen. Strange she went for me just as I was writing about open doors! Maybe she knows something we don't? You can never really tell with cats. Now, where was I? Yes, don't forget frying pan! And.... gee, I must be getting senile... I've forgotten! Keep up the good work! :-)

Very well done with great posing on all the characters and excellent props and backgrounds too. I look forward to the next installment and hopefully I will have this d...d computer working right soon. I probably need the girls here to sort it out properly.
Madbat
Right, you need to tell those gals to close the doors during classified meetings! Great stuff Rod, I like the blue panels. Are you using a prop or postworking them in? If photoshop, just add in a stroke layer style at 1 or two pixels (whatever looks good) and blammo, instant border.
RodS
I'm still debating with myself on weather or not to add borders around the balloons.... What do y'all think? 😜

This is more than amazing Rod.Your graphics are all-way of top quality with such a lot to see.. LUV them. and this page got me so in, that when I come to the end ...I was looking for more ..Only to see ...to be continued..Hats of to you I don't know how you do it but please keep them coming my friend... I like the bubbles how your done them very clear. Cheers
GrandmaT Online Now!
Excellent job! The speak bubbles work very nicely and the scenes are always so nicely detailed. Trying to figure out who the mystery lady is but my brain is a little too fried at the moment.
goodoleboy
Wow, this puts 'Charley's Angels' to shame. The femmes far outnumber their male counterparts in this fabulously rendered set of comic strips. And I love the hairstyles and cleavage of the participants.

Charlie worships at Director Upp's altar... hehehehehe....😅

Excellent work, my friend !!! Really like your attention to detail ! ! !
Radar_rad-dude
A most excellent series and fine dialogue! Fantastic illustrations and a great creation! Bravo!

Another terrific installment! I say "no" to borders on the bubbles, but the semi-transparent blue works great! I didn't even notice it until I got all done and saw your writeup. It's nicely neutral, and the text is easy to read.

Rod, I'm only back for 1 or 2 comments per gallery this time...in this case, because it's one of your TNA chapters, I'll let it count as two because I usually write a freaking tome on these things (lol---I'm laughing, but I'm not too sure you are!) You may have told us who this mysterious person is who shut down things---in the coming uploads, that is---but I've forgotten at present. (Though I saw and read everything, loved the steve collaborations and the beautiful pinups, and the "Fashion Plates" with a copy of that venerable fashion mag, "Vague," lol, along with "Game of Drones") And as for borders around the bubbles, what you have here is probably the best solution. Remember when foreign film subtitles were all whit? When there was a bright scene, you'd crane into the screen and shout, "what???? get some contrast, we don't have x-ray eyes!!!" They solved it by putting dark shadows around the letters---boom. But in cartoons, that's a big step as you have so many words and those shadows will take away from the visuals. So a restful, non-intrusive blue is perfect.
Sometimes your TNA series reminds me of the old series, The Prisoner, that strange, magical spinoff from Patrick McGoohan's old spy show (Secret Agent Man?), which was so inventive and became a cult show after a while. Because it had such colorful backdrops, such imaginative scenes in "the village," etc. You pack so much colorful stuff into your chapters; and your array of outfits---here, just dazzling as we look down the table---are terrific visual communication. As in film, you open with an "establishing shot"---that full-room view, where the table seems to go up on a ridge, and we get the whole collection of the agents, beautifully posed, beautifully attired. (Do they ever wear grungy t-shirts and messy gardening pants? I mean, just having just come from cleaning the bathroom? I know people like this, they look better first thing in the morning than I ever will in a tuxedo!) Great light on that orange table too. Love your maps and charts too. (You wanna tectonic joke, since you mentioned it in the piece? In college, we went to dinnerware stores and asked for their best tectonic plates, cups and saucers. I didn't say it was funny, but you find a better joke with "tectonic" in it.) (How 'bout "something techs drink"?? ((tec-tonic???)) That's it for me and tectonic. Getting back...)
Your care in each frame is terrific. You compose, you highlight, the outfits stand out in different ways in each---in 2, we see the sheen and cut of their outfits in a whole new ways. (And I love Kinnie's standout green hair!) In the 3d and 4th, we get computer views (the closest laptop in 3 reminds me of The Prisoner too, almost like its "village"). Great light in the background too, to balance out the darker tones in the table, and that beautiful green outfit, etc. You close in, in 4---another really well composed 'still'. They feel like stills from live action, your frames always feel live. And (technical detail warning) the way she embraces the computer and makes a circle between it and her arms. You do things like that so damned well, and probably very intuitively...
The final two frames feel like they're preparing us for the next journey: They're active, intense, K always stands out with that beautiful hair, and the final image gives another group composition, with Kinnie against the light. Love your angles. Love your intersections. These pieces are alive with visual music. And you also get lots of small details in each woman, as they speak: For example, Kinnie in the penultimate frame has her fingers raised---a really small detail, but it's real, it's how we talk. That's the attention to detail that makes these alive...they're not just 'dummies' placed in the right places: They're live characters in living situations.
As for the story, you peaked my curiosity again: Subterranean rumblings and missing people, and a supernatural spirit planning to get inside someone's sleep...you won me over. Great to be back here again, and thanks again for your wonderful comments Rod. And I don't know how you live with all these computer crises---this one's off to the hospital, that one's off to see its relatives---I have trouble enough with one computer, I'll never know how you manage a whole group (each with its own problems). I hope they're all cured and back in order soon. Another terrific chapter from you...I hope to be back for more soon...
