The Exand tower contains a tall cylindrical test chamber, in which one can install long propulsion engines for testing. There is a small relay vault from which people can access the base of that test chamber, as shown in this picture; that vault is located under the elevator that is illustrated in the previous picture. Under the supervision of her professor, who has a back ache, Ionivka is crawling in an access tube that connects this vault to the base of the test chamber. A technician is installing a signal relay rack that will eventually provide a communication link between sensors located in the test chamber and a control center. During a test, that access tube will be closed by special thick doors, because any air of gas and any heat, within the test chamber, will be evacuated in order to simulate space conditions.
