Description

Hello Rendosians ! I wanted to upload a poser image since a long time and I finally had time to do a render. I was inspired by Pierre Lemaitre's book Au Revoir là-haut. In his book, he describes the end of WWI and the fate of two soldiers who organized a huge fraud in 1919. The character I represented is the sister of one of those soldiers and she believed his brother was killed during the war. I was really surprised by the sharp description of my country after the war and how the soldiers (dead or alive) were treated. Pierre Lemaitre really succeeded in writing a btitersweet story of friendship and he won a Goncourt Award for his book ! So I hope you'll like my image as much I like the story. Tout pour plaire : une belle image, pleine de douceur, de mystère aussi et l'occasion de se cultiver...je dois avouer que je ne connaissais pas l'écrivain ni, a fortiori, le livre bien que le titre me dise quelque chose ; j'ai dû le voir passer. Un grand bravo pour tout cela.

Comme pour Jean-Claude, j'avoue être resté dans un état de stupeur due à mon ignorance des personnes que tu évoques ici. Il va falloir que je corrige tout ça grâce à internet ! Cela dit, ta composition est magnifique, pleine de charme et de sensibilité, d'une douceur qui se dessine dans la lumière et dans tous les détails d'expression graphique de ton personnage et de son milieu environnant.
