The pieces are built starting with 1/8 sphere for the square ones and cylinder for the others. Texture is RJJNewWood only.

Thank you for your comments. No spline in modelling, only 'sweep' and 'edge fill'. All is done in the detail editor.

Lovely composition - reminds me of Escher for some reason. BTW why don't you send info re. the themes to the renderosity Imagine forum as well as the IML?
