I'm a french programmer. Most of the time, I create pictures to test my own modelling softwares. I also like to manipulate pixels, create texture or particles.BIOI remember the first grafic program I made on the commodore 64, a wireframe house turning around the vertical axis. Today, I write software to create specific 3D objects, complex primitive and also bitmap pictures. By the way, I sell my programs on this site : www.tpp.le-site-web.com . I'm exploring many other graphic techniques and not only on computer, calligraphy, origami.

I love the 'play doe' look. The lighting makes it look like your 'viewer' staggered in from a night out, fell down on the kitchen floor and that, which was the 'back thing' in the refrigerator, crawled out for the midnight snack. [lol] Blobs are hard but you can animate some; like water stream and drops. Still, like organica, you can make solid iob to put moving appendages to... The other thing about 'blobs' [at least on my machine] is the more you get the slower the refresh. :)

Class little creature, Haven't tried blobs yet but if you can do this with them, gotta give them a go.

My compliments to the chef on this cute lil "play dough" creature.nice tex on the lil guy. Were the teeth and spikey bits done as blobs as well?

Bobby, as for the nails, the eyes, the floor and the wall, they were not made with blobs. :)

Gotta just love the lit'l monster. Looks cute enough to let it eat your hand only to get to scratch once behind the ear (or behind the spike behind its eyes if it doesn't got one) ;) Also, animating blobs is rather easy, and if you got the horsepower, gives very good results. You can first build the "skeleton" adding spheres to the joints, and then build up the muscles by grouping to each joint. Also good for tentacles, tails and other scary stuff ;)
