I have remembered this year to plant separate tubs for tulips and daffs, as the latter come up for several years and the tulips may not ! Another without the Topaz 'Flower Power'filter Here

Both are beautiful images but your filter work gives this a certain hyper realism and the look of mother-of-pearl on parts of the flower.

full size, you've turned this flower into a highly silken, sensuous, furrowed, folding affair; with a 17th-18th C european feel, and wonderful shadows amidst those delicate pinks and greens, etc. The background flowers look like undulating sensuous whirlpools of activity. And the light on the flower is sumptuous. Great use of filters. And a beautiful flower to begin with...
