Story / Description :
The story continues from the last render....
We actually had wanted the airplane to land to see where it went. There was no visible landing strip anywhere and we were still waiting on the new scans of the hill from the newly tasked satellites. We waited for the two of them to jump out of the airplane. In the holographic display we saw their parachutes open and then descended. We saw them move towards the hill and we thought they were going to hit the ground hard when suddenly they seem to go through the ground. We looked at each other. Within seconds the satellite scans was ready and when superimposed on the holographic display we saw a huge part of the hill where the 2 had disappeared into was a flat area cut out of solid rock and surrounded by cliff on 3 sides. But to anyone flying near or over it they would only see continuous hill. There was some kind of holographic camouflage there to hide the opening. Even we were impressed by that.
Miho said to get ready. She changed into another sexy outfit. She winked at me and I just smiled at her. The plan was simple as before - to shut the base down. Easier said than done with killer robots running around in that base. How we were going to do it was still up in the air. Miho said we will figure it out. She triggered even more intensive scan of the area where the 2 people on parachutes had disappeared into and the results of the scan would get feed directly into the hyper-plane's system.
The wolf again said he wanted to come. Miho said ok but told the wolf he needed to stay in the hyper-plane until she said it was safe for him to come out. The wolf perked up and said yes he will obey her command.
We took off in the hyper-plane and were over the hill in minutes. To the naked eye it did look like there was continuous hilly terrain. But the scan result displayed on the display screens in the cockpit showed otherwise. We were certain we were invisible to anyone out and about in the open ground between the 3 sided cliff walls and also to all radar systems including infrared heat sensing detectors. The hyper-plane always maintained it's outer body temperature to match the exact ambient air temperature. As we came on top of the camouflaged opening in the hill in the display that was being feed with realtime scan of the area we could see a group of people inspecting robots. Some kind of testing was going on with the robots. Miho got up from her seat and asked me to take over the hyper-plane and told me to land the hyper-plane nearby and meet her down there. I said "huh ?" I was confused as in my mind we were anyway going to go there together once we landed the hyper-plane. Where did she think she was going without the hyper-plane landing first ? What was that "Meet me down there" Miho had just said ? Then I and the wolf got a shock of our lives, Miho open the port door and looked back at me, smiled and said "See ya soon" and jumped out of the hyper-plane. I banked the hyper-plane hard and turned around to see Miho disappear thought the camouflage. She had jumped from more than 10 stories high. I and the wolf were dumbfounded. My brain was having a hard time processing what had just happened... Suddenly Miho voice came over the comms - "Hello boys"... She had just surprised the hell out of the people who were there in that opening. So somehow she had safely managed to jump down 10 stories... Will need to ask her how she did that later... for the time being I needed to land quickly and head down to her.... Miho was about to unleash mayhem down there.... and I was not about to miss that..... The wolf would still need to stay with the hyper-plane until Miho gave it permission...
The story will continue form the next render...
About this render :
I actually wanted to do a 3 panel image. One of Miho jumping out of the hyper-plane, second one of her landing behind the group of people and robots and the third of her unleashing mayhem. But it took way too long to re-texture the ShuttleStar to match Miho's dress. So will do the other 2 renders separately. Also, again have been busy with work too.
The whole re-texturing of the ShuttleStar has been done within Octane material editor. No Photoshop has been used to create the new textures / details / masks. All the manipulation were done using Octane material nodes including color / material mixer nodes. Had to create a lot of mask using Hue / Saturation / Contrast and Gamma settings under the Color Correction node of the Octane material editor and then mix different Octane materials using those masks. I like how I managed to match it to Miho's dress and hair color.
In this render I had to put hidden reflector below Miho to reflect light back on her. But even though I can hide a object from the Octane camera, it still appears on all reflective surface on the scene so the reflector primitive showed up on the ShuttleStar body. And that looked odd. So to kind of hide it in plain sight, I put a cloud texture on it so that on the reflective surface one only saw the cloud being reflected and not a plane primitive.
Again used ZBrush to create custom morph to move Miho's hair back and fix the sci-fi boots cutting into her thighs. Finally I added glare and bloom within Octane and just loved the strikes of light that it created on the ShuttleStar.
PS: I have re-rendered this. Added a bit more flow to the hair using ZBrush. Also as this turned out to be a standalone render instead of the multi-panel image, I switched the render dimension to my standard size.

Marvelous work! She either has an invisible parachute or there is something fishy about that hidden base.

Very sleek aircraft. The character needs more motion in her hair to indicate speedy passage through the air.
