they almost look like guard gulls, like they're guarding a castle. And the one looking at us is saying to the other, "all clear". Your composition sets them up high---like guards---and gives us that big molded, lichened, or whatever surface below them. And that little---what---turret-like think on the left of the roof? It's kind of a punctuation mark. Love how you handled this. You made them look royal, and the roof, a bit like the side of a castle.
