Description

For this image I processed a photo I took on 2nd November... this is my good friend Ian "Idge" Bonshor of Sckism, on bass and vocal harmonising... http://themikester.co.uk/sckism/default.asp Three great friends of mine who are total lunatics on stage but really nice friendly guys. Their talent is quite something. I am not normally into this kind of music and yet I loved them from the first time I saw them live in 1997 - and they have consistently surpassed themselves ever since. They keep their songs interesting, injecting them with little quirks, eccentricities and odd diversions but it's still tight, rockin' and crazy, and powerful infectious stuff. Trust me. They are popular veterans of the stage, having played hundreds and hundreds of gigs, and if there is any kind of justice in this world they will make it, whatever time it may take. Please check out the URL above - their site contains a soundbite of "I'm On Fire" but this does not do the live experience justice! ...ok, plug over, thank you...

I agree, really beautiful image. I bet, when they have need for cd gfx, they will contact you. And they rock too, lead singer's voice is drilling into my brain.

Thanks for checking them out :-) That's Justin "Jut" Bonshor, Idge's bro, on lead vocals and guitar

I went to their site and I liked what Is aw, even if some links didn't work for me.. and you definitely have created an image where all your admire, and sense of magic you feel for them and with them, becomes evident for everyone's appreciation :)

Jim man, these guys need some getting used to. Don't you think it's kind of harsh to dump them on unsuspecting victims of conventional music (like myself)?

it's kind of wierd viewing this image because I'm not used to knowing what exactly the figures in your images are ;D It's a fine image with Synapse style though ;) I'll check out the band.
