Description

This is Sally (real name Dave) of Sckism, a drummer who wears a nurse's uniform on stage :-) But then all three of them deliberately set out to look daft... complete nutcases on stage but really nice respectful guys. With a history going back 7-8 years, Sckism have several demos recorded and play regular gigs throughout England, also looking for opportunities to play abroad. I recommend checking out their site to get a feel for what they're about: http://themikester.co.uk/sckism/default.asp I am the band's main photographer and designer. I don't use flash (don't like it - I don't even have a flashbulb) preferring to make use of available light. Sckism are a very energetic band and I seek to capture this movement with slow exposures which they like very much (think this one was about a second, or maybe two). Sally/Dave was fortunate enough to be very well lit from above in this gig, giving me ideal conditions for the kind of shot I wanted. Thanks for looking :-)

No filters were used here - this is purely available light. The blurring is intentional.
