I love that some of the commenters wonder why in the world people abandoned these. This shot grabbed me immediately: First, such unusual shoes: Without the laces, they look like big chasms as much as shoes. That pink lining is a knockout, gaping like that. And then, such a short tip on the shoe---no tongue, just a little tip....And then, the surrounding is a mini gorge---too big a word, I realize, but if one saw this without the shoes, one could imagine this is a topographical shot from a plane, with a big tectonic split below. Altogether it's a big feeling shot, with two strange glowing shoes in the middle. And that pink really sets it all off. Terrific find and work on this, Harry.
