made with photos, png tubes and brushes in GIMP and IrfanView faun: genderarts, woman: anaterate, background: romaniamissions, fan: buntysmum, vines and hair: maureenolder, birds: jassy, butterfly; susannp I have always liked the Beauty and the Beast idea... I'm planning on making a few images along those lines; this is the third. thanks for looking and any comments you care to leave!

another delight from you, Barb, this beast is much more 'human' than the others, and, despite his donkey legs, he seems a fine lover to this slightly distracted, slightly yearning woman. The fan is a terrific object to draw them both together. And I really like the precipice, with those deep mountains in the background. Lovers out for a gentle moment in the hills or mountains; on a beautiful bright day. Very different from the cloistered dripping interior of your last in this series. A charming entry to this playful and imaginative series. (Is it spring there yet? do you still have snow? We're in the 40s tonight, but at least we hit 85 during the week. I hope Mass. is beginning to show signs of spring at last...as I recall, N.England spring can be too brief---unlike its eye popping fall---but always beautiful.)
