I'm on and off these days, but I just read---in Rod's gallery---that our friend Mike (Faemike55) is having a hernia operation on May 22d.
I wish you all the best with your operation, Mike; I'll put in a word for you that week, and I'm sure your large and (deservedly) loving fan base will be wishing you all the best, throughout. I know it's not been the easiest spring for you, but I hope this will spell the end of all those burdens, so summer can dawn with real joy.
I don't have an elaborate image like Rod does (short notice), so instead I posted this old shot of Lake Michigan, to say "may dawn come your way when this is over!" Gather lots of DVDs, books, treatises, dirty pictures, Navajo Rug looms (for making rugs) (hey, it could happen!), and people you've been dying to see but haven't had time for, so your recovery will be a blast. I may have seen this in an earlier version but this is a perfect rebirth for Mike as many have noted above. This photo just oozes the splendor of sunrise. I last saw something like this at about 5:30am on a September morning in 2008 at Montauk Point, Long Island, New York...I haven't been up so early since:-)
