Now this I would call an "iconic" rose: Not just in the gorgeous folds, but in your pov---like it's looking nobly into the distance---and how you captured its configuration. You know the famous phrase of Henri Cartier-Bresson? "The decisive moment"? (The key 'gesture' or moment that makes a photograph great?) You have that here. This rose has a major decisive moment---something one normally wouldn't associate with flowers. Its 'pose', and the way it leans just a little to our left, gives it a 'decisive moment'. Terrific flower capture, postwork and cropping, Harry.
