My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Well, if you posted this to bring serenity to our injured friend I'd say mission accomplished. This is indeed a very relaxing view. I once worked with a young man from Peru who came in one Monday morning and went to work. Every time he moved he grimaced in pain. Someone finally asked him what was wrong. He said he'd had his appendix out that Saturday and was surprised when told he could stay home until he felt better.

A very lovely and serene dedication for Mike - I'm sure it will make him feel relaxed and happy - it sure does for me! A beautiful dedication, Tara!
Spoke with him earlier today - he's doing better, but still has some pain and soreness. And he will for a while, but it should be a little less each day. His boss said to take a few days off to recover. He's staying with his sister and her husband for a few days, and hopes to be back to the galleries soon.

great to read rod, now we know more about Mike's recovery. Not surprised he's still in pain, I know that hernias can take a while to overcome. I'm also glad he can take more time from work. I hope he gets all the rest he needs...
You created a sweeping piece of tranquility here, Tara, this is gorgeous. Soaked in introspective, almost slate blues, beautiful atmospheric background (you didn't mess with it to make it more "present"---something some of us ((incl me)) can do too much), beautiful sudden "clarity" in the snow covered peaks, beautiful pink strokes in the clouds, and that longitudinal sweep of land and water below. Your font suits the picture, and it's a big tranquil scene one can jump into. Special also because Mike must know the sight. Beautiful piece, tara, in every way.
Mike, I'm sorry you still have pain. I wish you a speedy recovery from it, and I'm glad you're not working yet. Heal in the lap of family, and may you be pain-free soon. Much relief and rest to you, Mike.
