My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

ooh, another splendid water shot from you (ala the one you posted for Mike): And so much horizontal motion here---I love the lines in the water and how the pier lines are going the same direction---a symphony of horizontals. And I love how the verticals line up with the line of the tree tops. And that beautiful dramatic sky. The whiter boats behind the piers are a lighter band, an white 'accent' sandwiched between the land and the piers. And the sky is reflected in the bottom part of the pic---full circle, top to bottom. Splendidly done, Tara. Full size, it sings.
(and btw: how many topaz filters are there???? I've counted 30,000 so far...)

Very satisfyingly rhythmic.

I like the perspective...my eye keeps coming back to the vertical posts that diminish in size as they go receding toward the background. Here you are concentrating on photography while I was off reading for sale signs and fantasizing about having a boat in which to sail around the Salish Sea:) Want to go?

This is really lovely, Tara. When I was a kid, my mom used to love oil painting, and water / reflections were one of her favorites. This reminds me a lot of her paintings.
