My name is Christina (you never would have guessed it, huh?) and I live in Magdeburg, Germany. It's the capitol of the Federal state Saxony-Anhalt and celebrated it's 1200th birthday in 2005. Well, I can tell you that I'm a bit younger than that and I hope it shows. Hehehe! BTW, the picture was taken in December 2005.
I've been a member of Renderosity since 1999 and I post on and off as time permits. In my gallery you'll find some old Bryce and Vue images as well as my new Vue and XenoDream images. I also invite you to visit my website http://teenabiz.de to have a look at all images I did, including a bunch of stereo images. I also offer some downloads.
Hugs,
Christina :)

cool!!!! it's a superb example of abstractism!!! are you sure the owl wasn't intentiona? 'cuz the resemblance is amazing!
Christina
Thanks a bunch for your nice compliments, dukduk! I'm glad you like it. I used 6 randomly rotated pyramids textured with an image I did in Bryce and using a fractal as a transparency map to make parts transparent. The owl appears only with these settings. I replaced the texture with another image I did and the owl wasn't recognizable anymore. Even changing the scale of the texture just a little bit lets the owl disappear. It's really somewhat mysterious that I found it at all and that's why I named it Mystic Owl. Scary, huh?

Marvelous...Strange and mysterious.Beautiful work Christina.

Thank you so much for your nice words, arek. I'm very happy about your comment. I love to do some abstracts now and then using crazy methods. You find more in my Vue galleries on my website http://teena.biz.
