My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I must have been focused on something else when you took this picture. It always amazes me to see how different our pictures are after the two of us have spent hours in the same general locale:-) Like your title.

I'd expect those apartments are at a premium... I don't like apartments - never did, no matter how fancy. On the other had, I've been called a loafer a time or three... LOL
But what a wonderful shot of this facade, Tara!

(I read bill, and I'm still waiting for one of you to write, "I could've done this soooooo much better...") Love this in medias res shot of this facade. You got real light in it because of the bright whites and the deep blacks. ANd the angle gives lots of variation to the repetition, as does the vivid green of the awning (bottom left). Love the "Grain Feed" up there, and the near black and white feel, even though it's not black and white. And the street lamp roots us to an unseen ground. A very fine capture of the visual music of a facade. And I too love old warehouses, factories and mills, etc. They ooze mystery too...they feel like whole lives have unfolded inside...I love this shot.
