If I try to explain the magic of your art, an image like this helps greatly. It's even simpler than some of your creations, yet it has all your magic. Not just the woman stepping through the frame, which is a magical concept by itself; but the whole rest of the treatment. Great outfit, with those I assume fabric pants that are woven and treated to look metallic and silken. Your draping of clothing is always first rate, and shows your fashion sense wonderfully. And I love her pose, moving out in one direction, and looking away in another; like she just crawled out of the frame. And, against those matte blacks and shiny blacks, the gray hues all around are wonderful contrast. (The cat is in whites an grays too, in addition to its black stripes.) Perfect choice for her lipstick too---it's the one strong reddish hue in the bunch (a crimson or deep red purple). A perfect accent. And the hearts are quiet and floating...with a bit of reflection in that invisible floor. This is the essence of your magic, Dee. Gentle and gorgeous.
(I've seen some of your DeviantArt posts several times now, and they're really making me regret that I gave up my membership there. I see other RR people there too---several comment in your gallery---and I'm pondering. But it's great to see images there I haven't seen here. You walk with a magic wand in your grasp, and when you touch the world with it, it's sheer wonder...)
