Description
(Please zoom...kinda murky otherwise...)
Sorry about the disappearing uploads...I was very tired this morning and messed up.
(Lost a few other uploads too.)
Messing with a street photo.
It's kinda whacky.
(No topaz---just my own 'elixir'.)

Love what you've done here! Dramatic and powerful in its own right! You have captured the trees reaching out to capture the unsuspecting travelers ala HP Lovecraft! In this universe, people should be looking over their shoulder waiting for the insane touch of one of them who should not be named. Capture is a foregone conclusion but the try to escape anyway.
Great picture and postwork.

A stunning lithographic effect. Where can I find this 'elixir'.

You hit a home run with this it looks awesome Mark well done

Wonderfully pink! It makes a nightmare scene almost attractive. But I am still overwhelmed and 'clausterphobed ' by these buildings.

I must say my friend you do the ultimate photo manips Mark. Besides your awesome photography you really ad a great twist to your captures. The streets look busy with traffic. I was wondering what happened to your other uploads. But happy you got them posted. I got taken at jiffy lube on car repairs yesterday, cost me alot more then I expected. I guess I used the word complete oil change and they did it all. Thought also replacing the wipers would have been a few bucks, crap! I got charged 21.95 for driver side and 20.95 for passenger side. What? Heck I could have done it for nothing. I'll no longer go there. But I loved viewing this my friend.

There is kind of watercolor over it with the flat colors in it. So beautiful like only you can do it. I see what Andrea means. It looks like a kind of compressed world beneath the tall Skyscrapers. Superb Elixir :D

Some day I'll do something in pink and say, "oh yes, this is just right!" I don't know why I never post anything I do in this style. Yours always look great, and mine always seem contrived. I assume it's because I'm too close to the original picture. I love the looming, dark presence this has, despite the friendly pink color. Terrific!

Man, if I was claustrophobic I would be meekly cowering in a fetal position, with my thumb in my mouth. What an imposing photo, what with the high contrast rectangular patterns dominating most of the scene. The buildings are sitting in a combined mass of traffic and trees at the bottom. Much too awesome for myself who lives in an area where no buildings taller than three stories are to be seen, just like the old west. As for eekdog's ripoff experience with his wiper blades, when I purchased my new blades for about five bucks at our local Riley auto parts store, my mechanic installed them for free.

Oh, now this is just mega-cool! I love what you've done with this shot of downtown - it looks so vibrant and alive. So much fun, and I love your "elixer'" Mark!
Oh, man.... Poor Steve.. Yeah, Jiffy Lube is the biggest ripoff going. They charge you for breathing the air in their lobby...

whoa, wow! this looks fantastic. it should be a movie poster or a cover of a book about life in the high-rise buildings and the mysteries unfolding behind all those windows. I especially like the streetlight; it looks huge as it watches over the hustle and bustle of mankind below.

Awesome job! I love the tones here and how the eyes are lead upward to the sky.
