Description
(again, better zoomed)
This is the original---in "fauvist" fashion.
(Fauvism was a radical movement at the start of the last century, which used wild colors. "Fauve" meant "wild beast": A writer called Matisse a "wild beast," thus the name...)

I've had physical therapy, and am quite tired, so have taken longer to get to all your galleries. I will, but it'll take a few more days, I promise.
Also, there are a few dedis coming up: I may be a bit late, but I'll get them up too. Forgive my delays.
Thanks for your wonderful visits. I wish you all a fine weekend!
Mark

this image, in comparison to the previous upload, is tame and sedate. One could almost feel safe travelling down these streets with impunity, however, there lurks an unseen horror that will snatch the unwary....
great work

Absolutely Fauveulous! Here's how it works, Mark. #1 - Get well. #2 - Work hard. Please follow that order. I promise you, no one will mind.

I think I enjoy this one more Mark. I guess because of the blue tone since it's my fave color. Your shots are so crisp and detailed. Thanks for sharing and being a friend. You have a way with words and photo beauty my friend.

AHH!! This is even better, if possible. But I do sooo love the colors and the postwork is magnificent. I really LUV this Image, Mark. (And I see, it was actually kind of compressed) ;-D

This one is much happier! Maybe it's the yellow. It's bright and open and friendly, like a lovely spring day!

As I perused this loverly fauvist photo, it suddenly occurred to me, that with such tall buildings, does sunlight ever reach the ground? Perhaps for just a few moments, when the sun is directly overhead. Anyway, a fine display of detail, rectangular patterns, happy colors, depth, vehicles, some trees, and your usual high contrast. Hope you get back your full strength soon.

Another wonderful, colorful look at Chi-town. I love it!
You just take the time you need, buddy! I hope the therapy is helping - just be sure to not overdo, Mark. Now, get some rest. That's an order from the T.N.A. Girls. They said to behave or they'd show up and 'punish' you. Ar says she still owes you one for that 20-foot toilet! 😆😆😅😜

this is nice, I like the colors and details. it's missing some of the mystery the other shot had but this one is clean and clear and beautiful, too. the lighting is splendid.

love the fresh blue against the yellow, the contrast, the clean towers and the busy look in the street; all remember me my break last year in this wonderful town! thank you for this Mark!

This one is a little calmer feeling but with bursts of energy in the spots of reds and oranges.
