Description
Rinnebäck Ravine, July 8, 2018, 10:00.
This is the Rinnebäck ravine, a nature preserve, just west of Lund. There is almost no water flowing, indicating a severe water shortage in Lund and also Sweden in general. Temperatures have been around 30 degrees Celcius (86 Farenheit) and higher. VERY humid (anyone want to take a salty shower with clothes on?)! The weather has been like this all of June.
There have been discussions concerning water for cattle and for horses. And horses drink a LOT. And nobody would slaughter a horse. People are wondering how much longer before we receive rain. I recall it was like this last summer, too.
Here we can talk "global warming", except this isn't global. And this past winter, as the winter before, was cold as could be. Global warming? From looking at solar activity, my bet is swinging solar activity. Now, how do we deal with THAT?
I'm not writing "Enjoy" since I'm sweating and it feels like a hot, muggy Philadelphia summer.
