Description

Fort Louvois (also called fort du Chapus) is a fortification located on the Chapus rock, facing the citadel of Château-d'Oléron at sea in the commune of Bourcefranc-le-Chapus and belonging to the Charente archipelago, in the department of Charente-Maritime, France. On the left the bridge to the island of Oléron
